Detect the issue. Tell the story. Keep the trust.

WatchPoint connects the technical truth of your systems with the clear, human communication your customers need.

Automated monitoring

Know before support tickets arrive.

Automation handles detection. People handle communication. WatchPoint gives each the right job so your customers receive useful information, not cryptic alerts.

01

Detect with confidence

Consecutive-check logic filters micro-blips before changing a component’s public status.

02

Communicate with context

Operators link affected components and author clear incident updates before subscribers are notified.

03

Resolve with a record

Customers see a transparent timeline and your team keeps a useful history of what happened.

When traffic spikes, your status page should not blink.

Public pages use static server rendering and output caching, separate from the interactive admin experience. During an outage, customers get fast HTML instead of competing with your operators for resources.

Monitor independently

Background polling stays isolated from the web UI and records the uptime history.

Operate interactively

Your team manages components and incidents in a rich Interactive Server portal.

Publish resiliently

Customers receive a cache-friendly public page designed for peak incident traffic.

One platform. Clear answers for everyone.

DevOps & SRE

Less manual status work during an incident

Automated component states and a focused operator workflow leave more time for recovery.

A dependable answer to share with customers

Deflect duplicate tickets with a public source of truth that stays current.

Transparent communication that protects trust

Subscribers receive intentional updates authored by people, not noisy raw alerts.

Everything you need to know

Get answers to the most common questions about WatchPoint monitoring, status pages, and pricing.

How quickly can I set up WatchPoint?
Under 10 minutes. Create your account, upload your logo and brand colors, define your service components, attach HTTP monitors with endpoint URLs and polling intervals, and your branded public status page goes live immediately.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You can start with the Grow plan and evaluate the platform with real endpoints before committing. No card required at sign-up.
Can I use my own domain for the status page?
Yes. Add a CNAME record pointing status.yourcompany.com to WatchPoint and the platform handles tenant resolution automatically. Available on Scale and Enterprise plans.
How does automated monitoring work?
You configure an HTTP endpoint, method, expected status code, and optional headers for each component. WatchPoint checks it on your chosen interval (1 to 5 minutes). If two consecutive checks return an unexpected response or time out, the component status changes to Major Outage automatically — filtering out micro-blips before they reach your public page.
Will my customers get spammed with every failed ping?
No. Component statuses update automatically based on monitor results, but subscriber email notifications are only triggered when an operator manually creates or updates an incident with a human-written message. This prevents cryptic automated emails from reaching your customers.
What happens during scheduled maintenance?
You define a maintenance window with start and end times, a description, and the affected components. Subscribers see a banner on the public page 48 hours before the work begins. While maintenance is active, automated monitor alerts for those components are suppressed so the status page reflects the planned state, not false outage signals.
What if my status page goes down during a real outage?
The public status page uses Blazor Static Server Rendering with .NET Output Caching, completely isolated from the admin portal and the Quartz.NET polling engine. It serves plain HTML that can be aggressively cached by Cloudflare and .NET's output cache — so even if 10,000 users refresh during an outage, the page serves from cache without hitting the database.
Is my data isolated from other tenants?
Yes. WatchPoint uses a single PostgreSQL database with strict tenant isolation via EF Core Global Query Filters on TenantId. Every query is automatically scoped to your tenant. There is no cross-tenant data access by design.
